JENKS PRO FORECAST (SWELL INFO)
08/24/2012
We have ourselves a hot looking storm in Tropical Storm Leslie, hopefully soon to be Hurricane Leslie.

Leslie is currently packing 70mph winds, sitting around 600 miles east of the Leeward Islands.

As Leslie heads WNW over the next 2-3 days, she will begin churning up SE swell towards the Jersey Shore.

As with any tropical storm, the exact forecast track has some uncertainty, but as of now, Leslie looks to

take a northward shift during the middle of the week as it heads east of Bermuda. The slow motion of of the storm

should allow plenty of fetch to be directed towards New Jersey and we are anticipating a nice swell ground swell

to move into the area Tuesday into Wednesday and hold solid through the end of the week.

The call is for 4-5 SE swells to hit Jenks beach Wednesday through Friday.  Stay tuned for more details as we

picture on Leslie becomes more in focused, but hopes are running high right now.
